NIS America announced at its Anime Expo panel that htoL #NiQ: The Firefly Diary will be released in North America and Europe this fall on the PlayStation Network.
When playing the game you use the PlayStation Vita’s touchscreen and rear touch pad to guide a young girl through dangerous ruins with the aid of two fairies, one operating in light and the other in shadow, you must uncover the girl’s memories to save her from a terrible fate.
For those who want a physical copy, NIS America is looking into releasing a limited physical release in the West. It seems like a few people were disappointed that htoL #NiQ was only getting a digital release. These people took to NIS America’s forums to express their opinion, and it seems they have received a response from the forum admin “Houk”.
“We're looking into the possibility, but it'll really come down to the logistics of what the minimum order would have to be, and whether we think we can sell that many solely through our store.
