| They were bought for how much!? |
Most of you probably know by now that Microsoft bought the developers of Minecraft, Mojang, for a small amount of $2.5 Billion. I'm hearing some confusion from people on the internet and the people around me, people are still wondering what will happen to Minecraft on the other platforms such as the PlayStation consoles since the owner of the Xbox brand now owns the studio.
To answer that question; Yes, Minecraft will still be on the PlayStation consoles and the PS Vita version of the game is still indeed coming out. Best of all the update support will not be stopping and Minecraft will still be the block building game that you know and love. If you guys would like to hear more from the team itself then just go read their official blog post on the subject matter.
For those eagerly awaiting the release of the PS Vita version unfortunately the release date for has yet to be confirmed but it should come out very soon the developers say. Also you already own the PS3 version on a disc or digitally you will receive for free on the PS Vita!
