Minecraft Will Be Digging Its Way to the Vita in August

Mojang has spilt the beans on a ton of new info for Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition today! Minecraft will release for the PS Vita in August, cost $19.99, and it will be Cross-Buy supported with the PS3 version (Digital version.)! If you have the PS3 version now you will still get the PS Vita version for free when it releases. Same applies to the DLC if you own it or will buy it; you will get the DLC for both platforms. You can transfer save data from the PS3 to the Vita or vice versa.

There is some hope for the retail owners for the PS3 version. Mojang are working closely with Sony Computer Entertainment to look into ways to enable upgrade from the Blu-ray disc version of Minecraft: Playstation 3 Edition to Minecraft: Playstation 3 and Vita Edition. They will release more information about this closer to release.
