EarthNight Brings The Dragon Apocalypse To The PS Vita Next Year

Announced today, Cleaversoft's EarthNight, is coming to the PS Vita sometime in 2015. EarthNight is a roguelike runner about the dragon apocalypse. Dragons have taken over the Earth and exiled the human population to outer space. Players will take control of either one of the two heroes Stanley or Sydney. Stanley and Sydney decide to skydive to the planet’s surface, taking out as many dragons as they can on their way.
Like other runners, most of the gameplay involves two buttons. Cleaversoft mentions that hardcore gamers should not be worried as the controls have depth and the levels are always scattered with different dangerous obstacles to deal with. The game alternates between running on the backs of dragons and skydiving through a sea of the vile beasts. The running sections are frantic, fast-paced and filled with danger, while the skydiving sections serve as a living level select, and a break from the action.

The game has the look of a hand-painted drawing. That is because every visual element is painted by Paul Davey.  Paul’s paintings inspired the entire EarthNight universe. I give my congratulations to Paul. This game looks absolutely beautiful.
EarthNight features a original soundtrack by Chipocrite. Chipocrite is releasing an EP titled "3P" today. The EP will contain two songs from the game and “Truce,” the song that is featured in the trailer. You can check out this pretty awesome EP here.
The game will be playable at E3 this year.
